general. growing up, gio's life is almost, if not completely, reduced to being the politician's illegitimate son. despite his own achievements and hardwork to try and make a name for himself, the media and the general public only know him as the congressman's bastard.even in the present, the male doesn't have a proper relationship with his father, including their other relatives. though both sides remain civil with each other, gio had never felt welcomed in the lee family.the sole person he has in his life is his mother, who pursued a short-lived career as an actress back in the 90s. news of her pregnancy or so-called scandal by the media put a halt on her rising fame and was replaced by the public's scorn overnight.despite these circumstances, gio has grown up quite differently than what people have expected. with his mother's love and warmth, he grew up to be a very energetic and cheerful child.both have lived alone with a few helpers in her mother's hometown. they were able to survive as they are financially supported by his father, even in the present. bringing up the topic of his birthright never puts gio in a good mood; he tries his very best to just avoid such situations. under co.
education. gio was an average student throughout his schooling years, though he very much enjoyed broadcasting and journalism. he was the president of the broadcasting club back in high school, conducting their own radio programs in school and participating in broadcasting contests.aside from this, he used to be a star player on his school’s basketball team.eventually, gio also pursues both broadcasting and basketball at DLSU. an unfortunate event happens in the summer of 2019 where he injures his knee, killing his dreams of ever becoming a professional athlete.present. gio is currently a late-night dj at the odd spot. since he is a retired athlete, he sometimes volunteers to help coach young basketball players at his hometown's school during his free time.
